Kinder Girl
April 19th, 2007My little bub is now a full-time kindy girl. Through word of mouth recommendation from a friend, we enrolled Yaz into a kindergarten attached to a Muslim school and she just loves it.
Yesterday she came home singing “Little Muslim, little Muslim, do you pray, do you pray, yes I doooo, yes I doooo, five times a day, five times a day” to Frere Jacques. It made my heart nearly burst with happiness.
The two teachers are just lovely. They make it a point to hug and welcome the tots as they arrive each day and say goodbye when they leave.
I hadn’t thought of a Muslim kindy, only because I didn’t know they existed, but Abu Yasmin and I are delighted with this one so far.

Wow, that is so sweet
How fortunate you were to find one.
Ya Haqq!
I’ve just taught it to my own little bub right now,and she loves it! Thank you.
Irving: Alhamdulillah we are so fortunate. I didn’t know that any Muslim schools offered a kindergarten program, let alone one close to us. Allah
has blessed us indeed.
Shirley: Isn’t it the cutest!
