Sleep apnea trial

Apologies to all first-time commenters that your comments got held up in my moderation queue. In an effort to stop the spam, I moderate all first-time comments (after that, comment away freely), and usually I am quicker but had an adventure last night.

Last night before I had a chance to hop on the ‘ole puter, I got a call from the hospital (I’m booked in for a sleep trial to see if I suffer from sleep apnea). I was on the emergency waiting list and they asked if I could come in straight away. So I said absolutely yes (otherwise, my appointment was looking to be in August) and skedaddled into the hospital. They hooked me up to a zillion different wires on my head, face, body, legs, stuffed things into my nose and over my mouth and then watched me sleep with a camera all night. Needless to say I didn’t sleep much LOL.

At one point, I was suffering from the call of nature, and they brought in a commode, but for the life of me, I just couldn’t get over the psychological barrier of “not supposed to pee anywhere other than toilet”. So I tried to go back to sleep but I was busting, so they unhooked me from the wires so I could visit the bathroom. Then hooked back up to all the wires and off to sleep (sort of) again.

So, today when I got home from the hospital, the first thing I did was go to bed LOL.
