Pope cancels speech
January 19th, 2008It’s not only Muslims that the current Pope appears to offend. I can’t help thinking that if the Pope had had to cancel his speech because of Muslim protest, there would be howls of outrage emanating from the right-wingers about dhimmitude and Islamofacism winning again, and it would be front-page news.
Maybe this Pope actually does have a lot of views that are out of step with what the rest of us are thinking, whether it is Muslims protesting or Italian university students.
